tea for two

after living in chinatown for a week, we somehow feel that we´ve been to China, as well as N.Y. you can say many things about the chinese (strange food-habits for example), but they sure know their cup of tea. we bought a whole lot of kitchen-supplies there, but most of them are presents, so i can´t show them yet. we bought the cutest tea-set for the two of us, so we can have a romantic breakfast with tea every day.

we also bought a lot of rose-tea. mm. and it smells wonderful as well.



i´ve been wanting a transparent teapot for a while, and since we bought a bag of tea-flowers, we had to get one, so we can see the flower as it blooms in the hot water. it´s such a magical sight, and i´m really looking forward to trying them out.

home sweet home

we came home today, after a week in New York. we left norway with one suitcase weighing about 17 kilo, and returned with 51. this picture shows everything we bought, exept food and candy. I´ll put out some more pictures later, but i am very tired from both the trip and the time difference right now. have a great weekend!
